From Better to Worse

The poor thing. The terrible things I do to my OCs.

Her mother had left Adura and her father since she was only a few months old. Regardless, she and her father were close as ever. Her father (who doesn’t have a name yet) had been training to become the strongest of soldiers, but during training Jaga saw a great deal of strength in him and offered him to join that of the clerics. After telling a few of his fellow warriors the good news, some became quite envious of him and ploted to ruin him. The group of ill intentioned soldiers murdered one of the clerics and framed Adura’s father for the crime. Having no way to clear his name, his majesty Claudus punished him by stripping away his rank and ability to show his face in that of the first class society. Both Adura and her father were kicked out of their lovely home and their so called friends shunned them as they left to join the scum of Thundera.
Adura slowly watched her father become a angry drunk that hated everything about Thundera and their king. She tried to encourage her father to not loose faith in their homeland, but nothing worked. Soon her father became abusive, blaming her for his downfall and for loosing her mother. One day Adura left their dump of a house one night after nearly being beaten to death only to come back to find that her father had committed suicide.
Now alone Adura begged for coin to buy scraps from local merchants. Eventually, she became a well rounded thief. At first for her own personal gain, but eventually she began stealing for other orphans and abused children. Though her father was a angry drunk for most of her life, she still remembered who her father really was, and still loves him.
She currently lives her days stealing from the wealthy class to help support other children like herself. Like Lion-O she does her best to defend others.
